Shopify Developer

Overview:

Under the direction of the Senior Manager – eCommerce & Digital Marketing, the Shopify Developer is responsible for overseeing Moroccanoil.com’s infrastructure, security and code updates, both front end and back end, from a technical perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Act as technical lead with Development Agency
• Develop and maintain our e-commerce websites on Shopify Plus (B2C )
• Design, implement and maintain custom features and functionalities
• Collaborate with our marketing and design teams to ensure seamless user experiences
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our digital presence
• A/B test

Skills & Abilities:

• In-depth understanding of Shopify Plus platform
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years programming experience, business analytics experience and Shopify support experience
• Knowledge of both front and back end development work.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web development languages
• Experience working with Liquid
• Proficiency in reporting and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Proven track record of success working in a fast paced, high-growth environment
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and ability to work with design teams
• Shopify Plus certification is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
