We are seeking strong talent with a passion for insurance analytics to join our growing Product Management organization as part of the Property Center of Excellence. The Product Analyst / Senior Analyst is part of the Regional Product Analytics team, reporting to a Senior Product Analytics Manager. Responsibilities include reviewing and overseeing our homeowners’ results for select states and delivering best in class state analytics that promote profitability and growth.

Compensation Minimum:$ 68,200 / year
Compensation Maximum:$ 144,400 / year
Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

Identify states and property lines of business with profitability issues and recommend appropriate actions to ensure property products are winning in every market, partnering with your state manager on individual state strategy

Analyze results on a monthly basis by completing monthly reporting, researching drivers of performance, including support for various deep dive projects, and making recommendations for further analysis or strategic changes

Drive improvements and enhancements to existing processes, with an eye on automating to improve process efficiency

Lead cross functional projects and partner with manager to outline development needs and capabilities for the organization

Stay abreast of competitor actions and regulatory environment to proactively improve the company's competitive position and enhance work product

Mentor a few business oriented-actuaries and analysts to grow talent and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Requirements

Relevant Experience: Property & Casualty insurance product experience
-
Educational Credentials: A bachelor’s degree and quantitative analytical knowledge is required; a graduate degree and/or CPCU designation is preferred, but not required;

Entrepreneurial Mindset: A self-starter who can identify business opportunities, develop a product plan to capitalize on those opportunities, and successfully implement the plan;

Structured & Logical Thinking: The ability to identify and define business problems and issues, and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses;

Software Experience: Knowledge of SQL, SAS, R, Python, Tableau, GCP, and/or other programming/data query/reporting knowledge is preferred, in addition, intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is required;

This person will also need to be a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This professional must demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to gain credibility with and influence both team members and management.
