The Accounting Assistant I role is responsible for functions related to Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) transactions, supporting activities within the Accounting department.
Key responsibilities include performing daily, high-volume, and sometimes repetitive tasks, where accuracy and proficiency are essential. The role involves engaging with a diverse group of contacts, including internal personnel at all organizational levels. Strong independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize workload effectively.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role is hybrid, with three remote days per week (upon completion of 90-day probationary training period), depending on departmental needs.
