I came to Providence years ago here in Newberg, and I came because of the mission. I read the mission statement. I learned about the history of the Sisters of Providence, and that's really what aligned who I was to this work in this ministry and in a community that I love. What has kept me here is the mission, the core values, for sure, but it's the people. It's the people in this facility that have kept me here and keep me eager to come to work each and every day. Travel is required.**The Accreditation Program Manager has a key staff role in supporting the Health System with compliance to accreditation standards as well as state and federal regulations. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Accreditation and Regulatory Services, the position will manage processes for external accreditation, licensure, and certification of system acute care entities and other facilities; perform staff duties in support of system initiatives; and take a lead role in developing and implementing new processes, technologies, and resources for knowledge transfer related to accreditation services programs. In addition, this role supports, in partnership with Patient Safety, the implementation of Caring Reliably and processes to support Providence in becoming a transparent, learning organization.This person will occasionally travel to work on site at our ministries.
