I work with patients who have had a stroke, a brain injury, a spinal cord injury, or they're dealing with dizziness or falling, or they have a progressive disease, such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's. I love that as a physical therapist in this field I get to be an integral part of someone's recovery or journey. I get to help them identify their goals and then give them the tools and resources they need to reach those goals and be successful. I love seeing patients reach their goals and just, for example, be able to take care of themselves independently at home or go on a walk without being afraid of falling or play with their kids or grandkids.
