What You’ll Be Doing:
-Recruit, hire, train, and inspire a sales team to achieve targets.
-Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes.
-Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts, updated weekly.
-Establish and grow productive and professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
-Support the negotiation and closing of agreements in support of the sales team.
-Collaborate with internal customers and cross-functional departments to drive positive business outcomes.
-Stay informed about competitive activity and share knowledge with internal teams as appropriate.
-Conduct constructive and timely annual performance reviews for direct reports.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
-5–7 years of experience in sales.
-1–2 years of experience leading and motivating sales teams to maximum potential.
-Fire and life safety industry experience is highly preferred.
-Valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
-Ability to travel up to 40%, often overnight or for multiple days.
