POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Psychology Assistant will work in the Division of Cognitive and Motor Aging on a newly NIH-funded longitudinal study that aims to examine visual-somatosensory integration as a novel marker for Alzheimer’s disease. The RA will play an instrumental role in the day-to-day study operations by recruiting and enrolling over 200 non-demented older adults, scheduling appointments, orchestrating car service and participant payment, and conducting informed consent procedures and all sensory, motor, cognitive, medical and psychosocial test interviews.

Recruit, enroll and retain a diverse sample of 210 older adults with and without mild cognitive impairment for a 5-year longitudinal study.

Conduct informed consent procedures

Order institutional study-related medical services like MRI, PET-scans, and blood draws

Conduct patient interviews, cognitive tests, mobility/balance assessments, sensory and psychosocial tests.

Conduct quality control of all activities

Maintain computer databases of all study data

Enter data from paper and computerized forms into secure database, while also reviewing all intake forms for completeness and accuracy

Perform other related duties, such as data processing, survey collection or assessments as requested by the principal investigator
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree required

Experience with administration of neuropsychological test preferred.
