About This Role

The Role
As a member of the Strategic Channel team, you will collaborate with Zoom’s top North American Public Sector partners and distributors to grow the Zoom business by leveraging the extensive channel partners across the country. These activities may include discovering and delivering flexible solutions for Zoom’s modern team collaboration. You will advocate the innovative power of the Zoom platform to help partners understand where their customer organizations can be more productive, collaborative and mobile to meet the changing demands of their industry. Your opportunity is to delight partners and their customers by doing what’s right for their business and to meet them where they are in their cloud journey and provide them with the best solutions for innovation.
Responsibilities
  • Enable the Zoom Public Sector partners to sell the Zoom platform solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at these partners.
  • Collaborate with account managers, technical architects, and other team members to develop and execute strategies for achieving sales goals.
  • Align with the Zoom Public Sector Sales Leaders to ensure the channel partners are providing value to help grow their business.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for customers, both in person and virtually.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Zoom's product roadmap to provide customers with the latest information and insights.
  • Developing standardized methodologies for partner sales motions that remove friction across the sales cycle, build trust, and ensure partner success with NetApp technology.
  • Forecast, track key account metrics and identify trends.
  • Consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service.
  • Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10+ years experience in Channel / Sales.
  • 5+ years experience of UCaaS.
  • 3+ years experience managing Channel / Sales teams.
  • Public Sector industry experience and understanding.
  • Exceptional relationship building/relationship management skills to establish rapport, trust and confidence with the vendor team.
  • Team player.
  • Demonstrated success performing in a large matrixed organization
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong forecasting, pipeline generating activities and sales discipline to help drive the business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and ERP systems.
  • Experience with solution selling and business development.
  • Strong financial skills including experience understanding P&L and balance sheets and managing teams to do the same.
  • Strong ability to influence people and align remote teams to achieve agreed goals and objectives.
  • Able to resolve channel conflict issues in sync with the Management’s Decision/Direction.
  • Excellent time management skills and knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$231,300.00
Maximum:
$505,900.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
