Escrow Processor (PGP Title)

This position is 100% in office Monday - Friday in Riverview, FL.

JOB SUMMARY
Primary responsibility is to assist with tasks relating to the closing of a real estate transactions.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
*Act as liaison between all parties to the transaction including homebuyer, mortgage, accounting and other areas within the Title & Settlement Process
*Review initial closing information and prepare Pre-Settlement Statements
*Review Title Commitments and identify issues
*Coordinate and maintain contacts for each community
*Work with Escrow Support Officers/IT Dept to maintain accurate information in database systems
*Maintain reports and tracking of completed tasks as required
*Support the branch as directed in all aspects of the settlement transactions
*Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines which includes but not limited to collection and disbursement of funds while complying States Good Funds Statutes.
*Ensure adherence to workflow processes
*Perform other duties as assigned
 
REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Notary Public is a plus

REQUIRED EXPEREINCE

  • Related Functional Experience: General Office Admin

  • Assistant Escrow Officer experience a plus

  • Customer Service skills in dealing with all homebuyer types and demographics

  • Ability to multi-task and handle fast-paced and demanding work environment

  • Strong follow up skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to adjust well to change

  • Capacity to work in a multi- location team environment

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to prioritize conflicting demands & meet department needs with available resources

  • Efficient in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel.  One Note and Softpro is a plus

  • Loyal: Shows firm and constant support to a cause

  • Team Player: Works well as a member of a group

  • Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside help

  • Goal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of objectives
