Salary Ranges depending on experience:
Purchasing Agent I: $65,400 - $79,788
Purchasing Agent II: $80,224 - $99,844
Sr. Purchasing Agent: $101,661 - $128,438
Position Description

This role responsible for purchasing materials and coordinating activities involved with procuring goods and services to assist in the successful bidding and execution of projects. Requests bids then analyses vendor pricing and capacity, to meet budget and project requirements, negotiating if necessary. Presents recommendations to project teams and prepares contracts for the work.

Independently performance most assignments with instruction

Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum Qualifications
4 – 7 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Drives the project team through purchasing process
Ability to navigate and mitigate risk, communicate these strategies to the team
Works on medium sized projects
Intermediate knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes and projects
Ability to lead an assignment/special project from start to finish
Makes decisions independently depending on level of complexity
Functions autonomously most of the time
Ability to be strategic/think critically and analytically
Initiates and maintains relationships with key staff and other departments
Contributes to the company above and beyond position
Assist in development/mentoring of Level 1; may have direct reports
Salary range: $80,224 - $99,844
Sr. Purchasing Agent:
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to minimum qualifications)
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
High level of strategy, proactive engagement to move project through purchasing effectively; holds others accountable
Manages and maintains vendor relationships
Capitalizes on potential opportunities for companywide advantages
Works on large and complex projects
Ability to stand in for operations teams as needed
Advanced knowledge of ISEC products, services, processes and projects
Exposure to multiple or larger projects with increased scope and complexity
Independent decision making
Fully autonomous in position
Directs activities; offers recommendations and solutions
Demonstrates problem solving and mature judgement in anticipating and solving issues
Assist in development/mentoring of Level 1 & 2; may have multiple direct reports
May assist with hiring and performance reviews
Salary range: $101,661 - $128,438
