QA Support Specialist

Sweetwater, the nation’s #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire a QA Support Specialist for our growing Software Engineering team.

This is a full-time position located at our headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN. We offer flexible work schedules and hybrid work-from-home options. Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers on our web systems
• Deliver an exceptional customer service experience with every interaction
• Apply critical problem-solving skills to resolve issues
• Self-manage ticket reports and their status
• Coordinate effective and timely responses
• Collaborate with engineering teams to write up clear and actionable bug reports
• Assist in executing various forms of software testing on new features and bug fixes to ensure proper functionality before it is released to customers in production systems

Qualifications

• Experience in providing customer support, preferably in a web environment
• Effective and articulate communication skills
• Strong attention to detail with a creativity in problem solving
• Team player with excellent collaboration skills
• A passion for growth in learning new technologies and tools to support testing strategy
• Experience testing web and mobile applications across different browser and device environments
• Knowledge of foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with query languages (such as SQL) and relational database-management tools
