Company Description

We are a virtual first company and your primary work experience will be virtual / working from your home.  Occasional travel to a physical office may be required to enhance working relationships, collaboration, design, strategy and alignment.    

Job Description

As an instructional designer for sales, you will create engaging sales training content to improve new hire onboarding, cross-selling, and upskilling in the sales organization. Sellers will increase their understanding, confidence, and use of materials to support reduced onboarding time, and increased win rates. Content will achieve its goals through active participation with the material (completing knowledge checks, tests, show-me activities, and recording videos demonstrating a competency).

What you will do:

  • Create new and continuing training materials and content for the sales and partner organization
  • Work cross-functionally with SMEs in sales, product marketing, operations, and product management.
  • Use AI (Artificial intelligence) to create images, turn video into transcripts, help with editing, and so many other things AI can do to speed up training development time
  • Administration of the sales productivity tool; add users, load and update content, assign training, run learner reports, analyze, and troubleshoot.

  • Learn QAD’s product platform, target industries, competition, sales process, and systems.
  • Quarterly training presentation preparation; KPI and data analysis against goals

Qualifications

  • Education/Licenses: BA/BS Degree
  • Concentrations in instructional design, technology, visual, or professional communication, media sciences, emerging media, English, or similar fields are a plus.
  • Experience:  5-7 years of instructional design experience
  • Previous experience supporting a sales organization.
  • Previous experience leveraging AI in training content development. 
  • ERP, supply chain and SaaS experience a plus
  • Computer skills:  Proficient in Google Suite, Sales productivity tools (Seismic), LMS (Absorb), CRM (Salesforce), SCORM, LMS, content development and editing tools, reporting, and analytics
