We are committed to supporting your success in both your professional and personal lives.Position Overview:We are recruiting for a Database Administrator who will support the critical functions for mission clients in the Intelligence Community.Responsibilities:• Develop and implementing databases and database services (ex. Aurora) in the cloud (AWS, Azure)• Database engineering to include schema development, designing/implementing data ingestion procedures.• Lightweight data engineering like cleaning and conditioning data from data calls and existing external/stand-alone databases and loading into local and cloud databases.• SQL design and implementation as part of database creation, maintenance, and in response to ADHOC query needs for mission purposes (data export as an example)• Designing and building specialized tools utilizing the database to generate custom products that include document automation• Opportunities to contribute significantly to other data science tasks beyond database needs, dependent upon candidate interest and capabilitiesRequired Qualifications:• Database administration experience, including cloud based platforms• Working knowledge of data and ETL topics• Experience with Cloud DevOps (AWS, Azure)• Provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills• Work with seniors in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment and manage competing priorities• Demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjobPreferred Qualifications:• Bachelors with 4 or more years of relevant experienceCompany EEO Statement:Accessibility/Accommodation:If because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please send an e-mail to staffing@us.QinetiQ.com or call (540) 658-2720 Opt. 4 and let us know the nature of your request and contact information.QinetiQ US is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
