Our client is looking for an expert Lead Java/Python Engineer with at least 6 years of experience to join their team. The role mandates expertise in Java, Python, and LLM/GenAI and Image identification. This is a hands-on position that requires you to design, architect and build software.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead backend development efforts using Java, Python, Postgres, and AI techniques, ensuring high-quality code and efficient delivery.
• Evaluate technologies, tune and build Proof of Concepts to keep the product at the cutting edge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative and scalable solutions to life.
• Participate in pair programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to improve code quality and accelerate delivery.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize backend performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, and UX team to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Foster teamwork, ensuring that the team focuses on achieving shared goals and outcomes.
• BE/BTech/MTech (CS/IT or MCA) with a focus on Software Engineering.
• Minimum 6+ years of enterprise backend app development experience in Java and Python.
• At least 3 cases of solving problems using specifically LLM/GenAI & Image identification
• Experience in digital maps, indoor positioning and augmented reality is highly desired.
• Excellent problem-solving and experimenting skills, ability to grasp knowledge from the internet
• Experience in leading smaller sharp teams of 2-3 people and mentoring in best practices is mandatory.
• Solid understanding and practice of modern development processes such as pair programming, TDD, and Agile methodologies.
