This key role demands a leader adept at pioneering new developments to drive growth.WHAT YOU’LL DO:• Lead a team to develop new technologies• Drive strategic growth by establishing and nurturing partnerships with a diverse network of laboratories, creating pathways for the expansion and deployment of instruments into these facilities.• Inspire and motivate to achieve ambitious business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.• Develop technology roadmap and platforms synergistic to existing ultra-sensitive SIMOA technology• Represent the company at various technology meetings/conferences• Technical advisor on inorganic opportunitiesBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:• PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Molecular Biology or Biomedical engineering• Life Science tools industry experience• 15+ years of technical experience to include previous leadership roles• People Management experience• Experience shaping a Technology Roadmap, developing concepts and building to commercial product• Track record of innovative and impactful researchEXPECTATIONS, COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & ABILITIES:• Work from Billerica, MA, laboratories; 5 days a week• Entrepreneurial or start up experience preferred• Demonstrated Leadership Competencies with a priority of Develop People, Leading Innovators, Foster Team and Act Decisively• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with dependencies to cross-functional teams• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with multidisciplinary scientists, both internally and externally• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills essential• Ability to think beyond existing solutions• Professionally persistent; drive technology and enhancements• Ability to solve complex problems and analyze issues; take initiative to collaborate with others to do so• Resilient & versatile; ability to adapt to change• Career growth from Research Fellow, Scientist, Leader of Research and New Technology Innovation• Lead with industry technology awareness; stay up to date with market standards, new technologies coming into the market and competitive advantageWHY YOU’LL LIKE WORKING WITH US:Our Technology:From discovery to diagnostics, Quanterix’s ultrasensitive biomarker detection is fueling breakthroughs only made possible through its unparalleled sensitivity and flexibility.
