Senior Financial Planning & Data Analyst

Senior FP&A and Data AnalystThe newly created Senior FP&A and Data Analyst position will report to the Director of FP&A and will primarily be responsible for financial and operational data management and analytics, KPI tracking, forecasting, and other financial planning and analysis activities for the company.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience organizing and analyzing data, designing, implementing, and monitoring financial and operational dashboards and KPI’s, preparing budgets and forecasts, supporting the identification of cross-functional data requirements, and preparing a variety of ad hoc financial analyses.The primary focus of this position is to further develop the data analytics infrastructure, create dashboards and monitor KPI’s, develop ad hoc analysis and reporting, and support the company-wide budgeting and forecasting processes.Primary Responsibilities Include:• Find, design, and direct new analytics projects for the company.• Maintain and support the new Anaplan FP&A system and related applications.• Help manage and complete the annual budgeting process.• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting models, driven by KPIs and including all three key financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)• Prepare variance analytics to drive understanding of the business.• Partner with our internal accounting team on monthly close process, financial reporting, and preparation and review of financial statements• Manage and perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.• Help design and develop Quick Quack’s financial business intelligence and analytics systems.• Design and development of key financial and operational dashboards.• Analyze information and prepare relevant operational and strategic recommendations for senior executives.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help them understand their data and reporting requirements.Skills and Qualifications:• Advanced data analytics skills and experience.• Excellent financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting skills and experience.• Proficient in using data analytics software with the ability to maintain and update KPIs and quickly build and maintain detailed financial models.• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.• Advanced PowerBI, Tableau, other business intelligence and data analysis skills.• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related degree required.• 10+ years of finance, data analytics and FP&A experience.• Anaplan experience preferred.
