We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the next evolution of Qventus's products. This role involves enhancing our data processing and analytics capabilities with a strong focus on healthcare operational efficiency. You will work closely with our Founders and engineering team to develop innovative solutions that impact patient care.
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build new API integrations to support increasing data volume and complexity.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to address data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
Implement systems for tracking data quality and consistency, ensuring maximum accuracy and reliability for critical decision-making.
Work closely with our Founders and other engineers to shape the vision and execution of Qventus's next-generation products.
Innovate and implement advanced data methodologies to solve challenging healthcare operational problems.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with cloud services such as AWS.
Expertise in data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing, with hands-on experience using DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and Looker for data visualization and analytics.
Direct experience with EMR systems, ideally including Epic, Cerner, and AthenaHealth, with a focus on notes data. Knowledge of integrating and managing data from these and other healthcare platforms.
Flexibility and adaptability in working with various kinds of data sources, demonstrating a keen ability to leverage a wide range of technologies and tools to solve complex data challenges.
Strong analytical skills and the excitement to work in a collaborative environment, particularly in partnership with our Founders and engineering team to leverage technology for innovative healthcare solutions.
English fluency is required as you will be communicating with global teams and stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge in cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data science principles.
Experience in healthcare data privacy and security standards.
