Global Talent Development Manager (Hybrid - San Antonio, TX)

The Global Talent Management Manager is a strategic leader with expertise in training, content creation, and project management. This role enhances the work of trainers and curriculum designers by bringing exceptional analytical insights, storytelling ability, and organizational skills to the team. The ideal candidate excels in designing and delivering impactful talent development strategies while leveraging analytics to drive informed decision-making. They are skilled communicators with a passion for creating engaging, high-quality learning experiences, ensuring seamless project execution and measurable outcomes on a global scale. 


This role will work a hybrid work schedule requiring 2 days a week at our office located at 281N/Redland Rd.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on onboarding, leadership, technical and professional development. 
  • Design training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources, that cater to various learning styles and levels of experience, using various software tools. 
  • Assess training needs through consultations with management and staff to tailor training programs to specific departmental requirements. 
  • Facilitate in-person and virtualworkshops, seminars, and one-on-one training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees. 
  • Present training initiatives, key insights, and program updates to executive audiences. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent management to ensure training content is relevant and cutting-edge. Use and apply AI to training materials.  
  • Collaborate with other trainers to align training initiatives with organizational goals and standards. 
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees to reinforce training concepts and address any challenges they may face in applying new skills. 


Knowledge and Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of training frameworks such as ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, 70-20-10 model or other relevant models or methodologies. 
  • In-depth knowledge of managing in-person and virtual classrooms via Teams and Zooms.  
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs related to various subjects, including onboarding, professional development and leadership development. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a diverse audience and present to an executive audience.  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously. 
  • Ability to analyze training needs and develop customized solutions that address specific business challenges. 
  • Proficiency in using various training tools and technologies, including e-learning platforms and multimedia resources, particularly Articulate 360.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing areas for improvement. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Experience teaching in a multicultural environment preferred. 


Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in management or training (e.g., ITIL Expert, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) are not required, but desirable. 
  • Minimum of5 years of experience in a training, development, and design role, with at least 2 years of experience in being a team or project lead. 
  • Demonstrated success in delivering training programs that result in measurable improvements in employee delivery and performance. 


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in talent management, training, and development in an IT setting. 
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of various IT concepts. 
  • Possesses a strong stage presence and ability to manage a classroom of adult learners. 
  • Analytics background with the ability to put data together to tell the right story to an executive audience.  
  • Design skills and creativity with building decks, videos, and various other content for learners.  
  • Expertise in Articulate 360, particularly RISE.
