Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Scheduling and Planning, the Scheduling Analyst is responsible for developing plans and schedules, baseline execution schedules, maintain the in-work schedules, perform critical path analysis and what-if planning, and support the delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly personnel work schedules for PATH. The position is located in a fast-paced office environment at PATH’s Journal Square Headquarters in Jersey City, NJ.


Responsibilities include:

  • Program Scheduling – Develop and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Detailed Scheduling & Change Management – Develop and maintain lower-level schedules
  • Change Integration – Manage the change integration teams
  • Project Management – Lead key program initiatives to improve execution.
  • Leads preparation, development, and coordination of simple to moderately complex integrated plans and schedules to meet program and/or project requirements.
  • Leads, help facilitate, and supports the integration of project/program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across several positions.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and reports performance variances.
  • Supports proposed changes to the daily and weekly.


Preferred Skills and Talents:

  • Experience in transportation operations and scheduling management.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, and/or Microsoft Project)

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's degree in lieu of at least five years railroad experiences.

Experience/Knowledge/Ability: Candidate must have:

  • Experience in transportation operations, business operations, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, program management, or project management.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, and/or Microsoft Project).
