About the Role

The Ramp Web Engineering team is 5 people strong and is currently searching for its 6th engineer. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in building and optimizing marketing sites, is a great cross-functional communicator, and possesses a knack for getting the visuals right.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead technical decision-making and implementation of multiple complex projects that establish our website, Ramp.com, as the gold standard for lead generation and product marketing

  • Build design systems and foster a culture of upholding industry-leading UX

  • Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and team

  • Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers and interns


What You Need

  • Minimum of 5 years of frontend engineering experience

  • Strong proficiency in Next.js and familiarity with Vercel’s server-side rendering capabilities

  • Professional experience building enterprise-grade marketing sites from the ground up

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization experience

  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing concepts

  • Stellar communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with a content management system (CMS), particularly Sanity studio

  • Experience with Tailwind CSS

  • Experience with dynamic web personalization

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices


Compensation

  • The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $233,750-$275,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
