Endress + Hauser Conducta is looking for an enthusiastic R&D Laboratory Technician to join our growing Anaheim Team. As a R&D Laboratory Technician you will be conducting experiments for new product development and existing product improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Make chemical solutions following instructions from engineers and supervisor
- Perform sensor tests and experiments under instructions
- Perform lab work for failure analysis of sensors and other products under instructions
- Document test and experimental results using Excel, Power Point, and/or Word
- Maintain inventory of chemicals, SDS, tools and equipment in R&D Lab; label chemicals properly
- Keep lab organized and clean
- Submit purchase requisitions to order lab supplies, chemicals, and tools etc
Perform related functions as needed

Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED, or 2-year degree in chemistry, physics, biology, physical chemistry, electronics, or closely related field
- 2 years of laboratory experience is required
- Knowledge of general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, physical chemistry
- Knowledge of principles, practices, methods, and techniques of chemical handling, lab tools, devices, and equipment (such as digital scales, flasks, beakers, pipettes, multimeters, optical microscope, potentiostat, fume hood, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, laboratory procedures, and formulas
- Ability to respond to spills and incidents in lab within established guidelines
- Follow oral and written instructions
- Complete daily work assignments within agreed upon time frame
Communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing

The hourly range for this full-time position is $32.00 to $42.00 per hour. The base pay that is offered for this position will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity. Bonuses or long-term incentives may be presented in addition to the compensation package. Please note that this is a temp to hire postion.
