**Overview:**We are seeking an experienced Call Center professional with at least 6 months of experience to join our team as a Medical Call Center Representative in Hauppauge, NY. This is a full-time position that is 100% in office, with a temporary to hire basis. **Responsibilities:**• Patient Communication: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, make outbound calls to patients for appointment reminders, follow-ups, and other notifications, address patient inquiries regarding appointments, services, billing, and other concerns. * Appointment Scheduling: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using the clinic's electronic health record (EHR) system, ensure accurate entry of patient information and appointment details, coordinate with medical staff to manage appointment availability. * Customer Service: Provide information about the clinic's services, policies, and procedures, resolve patient issues and complaints effectively and empathetically, direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel as needed. * Administrative Support: Assist with patient registration and verification of insurance information, maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinic procedures, services, and insurance policies, perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Qualifications:**• 1-2 years of experience in a call center environment• High School diploma required• *Benefits:**• Competitive hourly rate of $20-$21• Full-time position with 100% in-office work schedule• Temporary to hire basis with potential for permanent employment• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, incentive and recognition program, and 401K contribution (based on eligibility)
