Quality Assurance Specialist

**Overview:**We are seeking an experienced Quality Control specialist to join our team in Bakersfield, California. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by inspecting and testing our products using both automated and manual tests. **Responsibilities:**• Signs off on co-manufacturer quality checks, COA, and logs to ensure compliance to Quality and Food safety standards• Provides support for finished product Active Release and Hold and Release program• Compiles and analyzes complaint data, generates reports related to co-manufacturer and suppliers' performance• Manages co-man product sample shipment and sensory review• Helps resolve co-man-related CAPA using TraceGains, analyzes co-man related defect data to determine root cause• Reviews and updates product specifications• Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with all employees and management• Provides the highest level of internal and external customer service• Facilitates multiple improvement programs around food safety and quality needs• Assists in data collection methodologies and qualification for innovation and renovation• Other responsibilities as assigned by management• *Qualifications:**• 1 year of experience in Quality Control (food production)• High School education• Experience level: Experienced• *Benefits:**• Competitive hourly rate: $21 - $21.01 per hour• Temp to perm opportunity• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, incentive and recognition program, and 401K contribution (all benefits are based on eligibility)• Opportunities for professional growth and development
