Requirements

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Director to oversee all strategic and tactical aspects of facilities and workplace services across our global offices in New York City (HQ), Sydney, Auckland, Tokyo, London, and Singapore. Strategically, you will be responsible for forecasting space and future facilities requirements, negotiating with developers, and budgeting for capital expenditures and operating expenses. Tactically, you will be responsible for managing a small team of facilities personnel, as well as vendors and contractors for construction build-outs (TIs), day-to-day service and repairs, catering, security and preventive maintenance. This role will be based in New York City and report into Rokt’s CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Update, execute, and manage global real estate portfolio (HQ in New York City, with offices in Sydney, Auckland, Tokyo, London, and Singapore)
  • Drive strategic space planning to support future business needs
  • Lead lease negotiations and renewals by working with internal management and landlords/property management teams
  • Plan and oversee construction and renovation projects and all installations and refurbishments
  • Own and track the facilities operating and capital budgets including regularly reporting actuals and forecasts against budgets to the CFO
  • Lead process to select future facilities, furniture and fittings
  • Interface and manage facilities-related vendors and services
  • Oversee and manage the maintenance of Rokt’s offices
  • Structure and implement an effective and robust single-platform facilities security program
  • Manage a small facilities team in addition to external contractors

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years of global facilities management experience with at least 3 years managing teams
  • Experience coordinating with different stakeholders across the enterprise to meet company goals and objectives
  • Experience developing and managing significant budgets, including capital budget justifications
  • Excellent verbal, and written communication and presentation skills as you will be collaborating with diverse stakeholders, such as general contractors, project teams, architects, engineers and senior leadership
  • Experience leading and overseeing office expansion and fit-out projects
  • This position requires the candidate to work on-site to manage multiple projects, and travel as necessary to oversee remote facilities.

Salary Range: $185,000 - 230,000 + equity + (great) benefits!
