Design/Package Engineer-Chassis Design

Re:Car dba Slate is a new company exploring development in the electric vehicle space. They are looking for an experienced Design/Package Engineer specialized in chassis systems.

Skills

Expert proficiency in CATIA V5
Team building and effective communication
Knowledge of vehicle technicalities and development processes
Familiarity with NHTSA/FMVSS, CARB, EPA requirements

Responsibilities

Develop chassis systems and components with interface compatibility
Lead engineering of parts and assemblies
Manage technical specifications and functional targets
Conduct kinematic studies and feasibility analysis
Resolve integration and design issues during development

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent experience
