At Red Ventures, we are at the forefront of transforming user interactions with AI, aiming to elevate user experiences across our diverse product offerings. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Senior Product Designer with a background in AI to join our AI Product Division. This role is pivotal in shaping the next generation of AI-driven user experiences and will significantly contribute to the evolution of our design systems and processes through an AI lens.Formed two years ago, the AI Product division is charged with building AI-powered solutions that will change how our teammates operate and how our brands go to market. We're developing applications that will impact how we produce media, personalize our site experience, converse with our customers, and add intelligence to our digital buy-flows. Our team is responsible for both building the underlying technology and applying these applications to business opportunities. We are rapidly growing our team made up of a mix of data scientists, machine learning engineers, designers, UX researchers, analytics engineers, software engineers, and product managers.Join us in driving innovation and excellence in AI design, making a meaningful impact on user experiences at Red Ventures. If you are passionate about AI, design, and delivering exceptional user experiences, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoStrategic Vision and Design Leadership:Lead the strategic vision and conceptual design outcomes, providing clear direction for customer experiences across the AI landscape.Partner with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to create a unified design view of AI capabilities across Red Ventures.Owning the evolution of how we integrate generative AI and ML into our design workflows to improve efficiency and quality.Testing and forming data-driven opinions, establishing KPIs that we can measure our process gains against.Being the voice and advocate for the use of AI in the design process.AI Design Development:Deliver key building blocks to advance AI design system integrations.Explore, ideate, and integrate continuously emerging AI design patterns and specifications into our processes and systemsEnsure the AI design process evolves based on changing mental models, user and business needs, and opportunities in collaboration with the AI user research community.Familiarity with multi-modal Generative AI platforms and working in an established design system.User Experience Excellence:Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs, translating complex ideas into understandable concepts and solutions.Advocate for a responsible and ethical approach to AI in our products and services.Manage through shifting priorities to provide clear direction and input on product prioritization and support early product definition.Design Execution and Prototyping:Create and build prototypes to make design concepts tangible, delivering design assets for acceptance, development, and market delivery in partnership with engineering.Present, visualize, and communicate ideas and concepts at different design stages in a clear and structured way to support design decisions.Collaboration and Mentorship:Build relationships and collaborate closely with Red Ventures' UX and AI community to enable designers to deliver AI experiences users trust and love.Lead design reviews, design crits, and be a design craft leader and coach to other designers to ensure consistent and cohesive AI experiences.Support young talents by teaming up with them and providing actionable feedback that excels their growth.What We're Looking For:Experience and Skills:5+ years designing consumer-focused tech across various platforms (web, mobile, apps, etc).AI and complex or enterprise-level software experience is a big plus.Driven to question "how can we do it better", and in turn implement solutions to do just that.Proven track record in user experience design specific to AI and design systems deliverables.Strong skills in visual and interaction design, with the ability to visually communicate work for influence and impact.Experience with user research, user-centric design methodologies, and mock-up/prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe).Ability to self-manage changing requirements, tight deadlines, technical constraints, and conflicting expectations through agile practices.Excellent communication and storytelling skills to bring design direction to life with compelling narratives.Educational Background:Degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, New Media, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.Even Better:Experience with Agile and Jira is a plus.Continually broadening horizons on design methodologies, technologies, AI UX trends, and AI use cases.Experience balancing customer needs with business goals, market viability, and technical feasibility.CompensationUSA Compensation Range: $100,000 - 150,000*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.Additionally, the following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.Health Insurance Coverage (medical, dental, and vision)Life InsuranceShort and Long-Term Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsPaid Time OffHoliday Pay401(k) with matchEmployee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental Bonding Benefit ProgramWho We Are:Founded in 2000, Red Ventures (RV) is home to a diverse portfolio of industry-leading brands and businesses, strategic partnerships and proprietary technology - including Bankrate, Lonely Planet, CNET, The Points Guy, BestColleges and more.
