This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days.

As a Data Analyst for the Brokerage & Partner Operations team, you’ll be right at the beating heart of Redfin, supporting our employee and partner agents as they help customers through one of the most important transitions of their lives. You’ll work closely with product, program, and sales leadership to develop metrics, design strategies, and track the success or failure of our efforts. You’ll draw on a wide variety of data sources, including some of the most complete and robust real estate data in the world, synthesizing insights which guide some of the most important decisions in our business.
The Role
Work on a small team conducting analyses and building robust analytical reporting for our business leaders to plan both for the long and short-term.
Contribute as a member of the team focused on brokerage and partner agent performance. Analyze this area’s new program initiatives and engineering features, identify and evaluate process improvements. Build metrics to track and improve operational effectiveness and efficiency. Help with budgeting and strategic planning for these businesses.
Partner with Real Estate Operations, Partner Operations, Product Management, Finance, and Program Management teams to answer tough questions that inform the business and drive strategic data-driven decision making.
Use your technical and business expertise to make our operations more analytical, and our analytics more valuable.
Who You Are
2+ years working in an analytical role in a business context is required. Experience in analytics of operations, especially involving contractor management, performance metrics, and/or customer routing is a plus.
Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
Experience using data visualization/BI software (Tableau, Power BI) is required. Specifically, Tableau experience is a plus.
Ability to design analyses and experiments that produce actionable results fast
Ability to navigate ambiguity well in projects
Skill in data storytelling with the ability to explain complex insights clearly and effectively to a less technical audience
Strong consultative and influencing skills to help leaders make decisions and move the business forward
Possessing a curiosity that doesn’t stop at the “What?” but hungers for the “Why?” and “What if?”
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Business Analytics, an experimental science, or a related field. An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in Hawaii, Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Washington, and California.
Base Pay Range: $73,800.00 - 110,500.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include commissions, bonuses, and equity.
