Director of Legal

Redpanda, a streaming data platform company, is seeking a Director of Legal to lead the Legal team in commercial contracts, vendor contracts, compliance, and corporate matters.

Skills

JD from an accredited law school and Bar membership
7+ years of legal counsel experience
Strong understanding of commercial and vendor contracts, corporate governance
SaaS industry experience required
Ability to prioritize, execute plans, and drive deliverables
Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements
Partner with the Sales team on sales contracts
Research, identify, and mitigate risks for the company
Provide legal advice on corporate governance, intellectual property, and compliance
Develop and improve legal standards and processes
Represent the company in legal proceedings
Manage external counsel

Education

JD from an accredited law school
