About Us

Reframe Systems is on a mission to build net-zero carbon housing for all, at massive scale. To achieve our mission, we need to make net-zero carbon housing more affordable and we are re-imagining how housing is designed and built. Our modular building platform and highly-automated production system will drive down cost, delivery time, and embodied carbon for ADUs and multifamily housing. We are setting up our first software driven factory in the greater Boston area (Andover, MA), and have a roadmap to scale our presence nationally. We are disrupting assembly line manufacturing for housing production and are backed by leading VC firms in the industrial and construction space.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a Licensed Electrician (Class B) to join our team and play a critical role across factory and field operations. This unique position offers the opportunity to work in a controlled factory environment and at project sites, ensuring the seamless installation and integration of modular housing systems. You will also contribute to the building design process, providing input on electrical layouts, system specifications, and constructability. Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations in modular housing units in the factory, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and panels.

  • Assist with on-site electrical connections during module installation, ensuring systems comply with project specifications and codes.

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers during the building design process to provide input on electrical layouts, system specifications, and constructability.

  • Review and provide feedback on shop drawings, digital plans, and system diagrams.

  • Work closely with production teams, field crews, and other trades to complete projects efficiently and accurately.

  • Supervise and mentor apprentices, ensuring safe and high-quality work.

  • Ensure all electrical work complies with the Massachusetts Electrical Code (NEC) and Reframe Systems’ standards.

  • Conduct quality checks on factory-built and field-installed systems to ensure functionality and reliability.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues both in the factory and in the field.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors to address challenges and propose solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Valid Massachusetts Electrician license.

  • 3+ years of experience as an electrician, in residential or commercial/residential projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, particularly the NEC.

  • Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.

  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and digital plans.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overhead, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
