Job Description


We are seeking a Regional Area Lead (RAL) to lead our expansion of industrial hygiene services in the Southeast US region.

This is the perfect opportunity for a talented and ambitious Industrial Hygiene Project Manager or Consultant to join our team and partner with our regional leadership team to introduce traditional industrial hygiene service offerings to the region. Leveraging VERTEX’s existing client relationships and resources, and your own professional network, you will have the opportunity to drive regional business development strategies and build/manage an Industrial Hygiene consulting team.

RALs manage the delivery of comprehensive consulting services, including Exposure and Indoor Air Quality assessments and workplace hazard evaluations for a variety of clients in the real estate, higher education, insurance, hospitality, oil and gas, energy, and commercial sectors. RALs manage the P&L of the region’s IH practice, ensure the quality of client deliverables and customer satisfaction, and coach their teams to success.


Qualifications


Successful candidates will have a strong reputation in the industry, a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety/Industrial Hygiene or similar major, and the proven ability to balance business development responsibilities with client and team management. Our leaders are collaborative, have a strong sense of urgency and are fanatical about client satisfaction - you should be too.

This role can be remote or hybrid, however you must reside in the Southeast US to allow for access to client sites in the region.
