Role Summary
The Relationship Management Associate (RMA) – US Consultant Relations plays an integral role in support of US Consultant Relations. The incumbent works in partnership with a team of Consultant Relations executives (RMs) to foster relationships with influential consulting firms whose endorsement and promotion of the organization has an impact on the achievement of financial goals and access to US institutional clients. The RMA contributes to the management of complex consultant relations issues and may assist with specialized initiatives. The RMA has direct interaction with investment decision-makers and will act as subject-matter expert to our internal data and reporting teams, marketing and other key contacts for investment consultants across the globe. Provides direction to less experienced professionals and may assign tasks. May assist with a specialized initiative.
Responsibilities:

Develops and maintains relationships with representatives across a variety of consulting firms that provide services to T. Rowe Price clients and prospective clients. Uses established lines of communication to seek advance notice from consultant partners of perspective client needs.

Manages consultant relationships with assigned consultants (typically considered tier II and tier III) to position T. Rowe Price as consulting firms' exclusive partner for a variety of services. Supports negotiations of special terms and discounts on T. Rowe Price's products and services to gain partnership agreements.

Conducts sales meetings and educational sessions to build awareness among consulting firms of the organization's services, including recordkeeping and investment management strategies, among others. Communicates complex information about the organization leveraging expertise and established talking points and responses that align with the overall message of the organization.

Evaluates and responds to information requests from consultants. Prepares technical materials, synthesizing multiple sources of information into a cohesive and knowledgeable response, including recommendations for action by the consultant/client.

Contributes to the development of the organization's consultant relations management strategy. Applies significant industry knowledge to anticipate the future consulting needs of clients.

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

5+ years of total relevant work experience
Base salary range for the location(s) of:
California $101,000 – 173,000 USD Annual
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses 7 and 3 are required and will be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

San Francisco, CA$101,000.00 - $173,000.00 USD
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance. Salary range disclosure as required by sb1162 when hiring in California, sb19-085 when hiring in Colorado, and S9427A when hiring in New York.
