Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and optimization of thermal cameras and pyrometers for temperature measurement.
- Develop strategies for capturing interpass temperature profiles during welding.
- Calibrate and validate thermal sensors for manufacturing processes.
- Create algorithms to process thermal data for real-time manufacturing adjustments.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to integrate temperature data into workflows.
- Design quality control processes to manage interpass temperatures and defects.
- Lead R&D initiatives for new thermal management technologies.
- Maintain thorough documentation of thermal systems performance.
Education
- BS or MS in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related field.
