Remo’s Community is one of the fastest growing networks of dementia caregivers in the country. It is a digital platform that allows caregivers to connect with other caregivers and access timely, practical answers from our team of dementia experts. Community is the place caregivers turn to for support at every step of their dementia journey.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Community Engagement Manager will play a central role in expanding the reach and impact of Remo’s Community platform. This person will focus on activating strategic, innovative tactics to scale the Community, and will play a central role in creating deeply meaningful experiences for our members.
This role sits at the nexus of our clinical, product, and growth teams. The Community Engagement Manager will partner daily with Remo’s cross-functional teams to drive forward the strategy, management, and acceleration of Community. We’re looking for someone who will excel working with a collaborative team and someone who has the motivation and drive to take initiative and carry projects forward.
What you’ll do
Help us scale our Community from serving thousands of members to serving hundreds of thousands of members
Become an expert in our members and their experiences; be a champion of their needs within Community and help drive forward engagement and qualitative outcomes throughout their journey
Foster relationships with Community members and help facilitate connection between members
Take a data driven-approach (leveraging product analytics, social listening, user experience research, customer use cases) to inform future product development and marketing/communications initiatives
Build structure around the various processes and workflows that support Community operations; build governance protocols that oversee best practices, accepted codes of conduct, and expectations of the members engaging within Community
Lead experimentation plans and new learnings within the full suite of Community’s offerings to supercharge support groups, peer-to-peer connection, etc.
Partner with VP of Marketing to concept, build and execute ambassador programs in strategic local markets
Define, implement, and report on KPIs for Community, surfacing meaningful insights to team leaders across the organization
Represent the voice of the community internally by highlighting and socializing topical community stories, questions, and feedback to relevant internal teams
Support social media efforts for the organization, for both existing platforms, and provide guidance on go-forward initiatives Remo should consider. Partner with VP of marketing to drive KOL engagement, and identify KOLs who are aligned with the Remo brand.
Have at least 6 years of experience in either moderating, building or scaling online communities
Are comfortable with ambiguity and iterating quickly — you’re unafraid to take the first pass at something to move things forward
Have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Have your own engine — do see what needs to be done and raise your hand vs. needing to be told what to do (and/or how to do it)
Are equal parts creative and strategic, with a deep understanding of what really matters to people and a clear sense of what it takes to break through the social noise
Feel comfortable and excited to leverage AI tools that augment your ability to create exceptional work and deliver meaningful results
