Remote Electrical Engineering Intern

Are you a college student looking for a part time Internship in the Twin Cities area? Our client is looking for a PAID Electrical Engineering Intern for a part time REMOTE role! This intern will assist the engineering team in various projects!

Details:

• $25 - $28 per hour pay rate
• Part Time - 10 - 20 hours per week
• Mostly remote! (onsite for day 1, then in person check-ins once every 2-4 weeks)
• Contract - 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Assist SIO team with roll out of remote operations in plant electrical gear
• Lead small electrical projects with design and planning
• Maintain Database of Medium Voltage Equipment
• Create End of Equipment Life planning (5 year look ahead)
• Support P&ID verification and updates
• Assist and review larger electrical projects with the project team

Requirements:

• Enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering program (Junior, preferably with at least a 3.0 GPA)
• Knowledge of implementing/participating in continuous improvement process
• Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new systems easily
• Proficiency in problem solving, troubleshooting, managing multiple priorities, taking initiative, adapting approach.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Effective communication - written and verbal
