Renesas Electronics America is looking for a full-time Electronics Technician at our Tempe, Arizona location with May 1st, 2025 or earlier start date.
As an Electronics Technician at Renesas you will work directly with the applications engineering team on configuring Renesas' flagship timing devices and lab equipment, focused on the 5G market.
Your primary focus will be to support the team with evaluation board verifications, equipment setup, automation setups, and evaluation board rework. This will require extensive lab work and some customized scripting, as well as interacting with cross-functional teams, to achieve the best performance possible. This is an onsite position and not open to remote work.
-An AS or AA in Electronics Technology or Electronic Engineering Technology or similar degree.
-This is an entry level position, so no prior work experience in this field is required. We will train you.
-Experience reading schematics and hands-on electronics debug.
-Experienced using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
-Basic experience using Python. This is not a coding position, but it’s necessary to understand how to read Python for some of the lab setups.

- Self-starter, not afraid to ask questions and seek guidance
- Curious with a strong desire to grow
- Good attention to detail.
