Revenue Management Product Advisor

RentVision’s Revenue Management product dynamically adjusts rental rates to optimize pricing for apartment communities. As the Revenue Management Product Advisor, you will play a key role in scaling this product by developing and executing strategies that maximize its impact—driving revenue growth while enhancing client success. To excel in this role, you need to be a strategic thinker who can turn ambitious goals into actionable plans, create scalable processes, drive revenue growth, and build strong client relationships. As our newest product, RentVision’s Revenue Management solution will require building and refining processes from the ground up. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to scale, enhance client onboarding, and achieve monthly recurring revenue targets.

This role will initially report to our CEO, who currently owns this product and will lead initial training and development. Over time, as the team grows, this role is expected to transition to report under one of our Directors. Future people management is also likely in this role, with future hires occurring as growth targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Client Onboarding: Lead pre-launch processes, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to onboarding by setting expectations, configuring initial settings, and optimizing training materials.
  • Make Servicing Scalable: Develop scalable strategies to support client success with a goal of improving retention and maximizing profitability within our recurring revenue model.
  • Provide Product Feedback: Identify and clarify product deficiencies, providing actionable insights to the Product team for continuous improvement.
  • Support Sales Enablement: Support the Client Acquisition team by refining sales messaging, developing case studies, and providing data-driven insights to improve conversion rates.
  • Achieve Revenue Milestones: Drive our Revenue Management product to meet monthly recurring revenue targets.
  • Optimize Client Property Performance: Analyze property performance data for Revenue Management clients, and execute recommendations and adjustments to maximize revenue optimization outcomes.
  • Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable: As the team grows, take ownership of leading, managing, and holding team members accountable to goals, performance standards, and RentVision's values.

Client Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact regarding the Revenue Management product for clients from contract signing through their initial quarterly reviews.
  • Conduct additional client reviews as necessary, offering insights and recommendations for optimal settings to maximize revenue.
  • This role may involve limited travel - typically 1-2 times per year - to meet with select clients in person or facilitate hands-on training sessions

Team Collaboration:

  • Work in close coordination with Client Success, Product, and Client Acquisition teams to ensure alignment on sales strategy, client onboarding, and ongoing support.
  • Provide training and resources to the Client Success team to support client needs effectively.
  • Collaborate with Client Education to develop and refine educational materials for clients.
  • Plan for future team growth and leadership responsibilities, including onboarding and managing new team members as needed.
  • This is a full-time, in-office role based in Lincoln, NE, where face-to-face collaboration is valued.
  • Experience in client management or client servicing strategies: You have a proven track record of working with clients or building systems that service clients.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset: You can evaluate challenges, consider long-term growth goals, and develop scalable solutions.
  • Good with numbers: Math comes naturally to you. You will be able to confidently analyze rent, revenue, and occupancy trends, understanding key financial levers, and using data to drive informed decisions.
  • Strong collaboration skills: You thrive in a team environment, partnering across departments to drive success.
  • Ability to balance strategy and execution: You can create high-level strategies while being hands-on with client needs, sales messaging, and product feedback.
  • Comfort in an in-office environment: We prioritize in-person collaboration to build strong relationships and foster team alignment.
  • People management experience or potential: You either have previous experience leading others or show clear potential to grow into a leadership role as the team expands.

Preferred Experience:

  • Sales strategy development: Experience improving sales messaging and processes to drive higher close rates.
  • Process improvement: Background in creating and implementing scalable client onboarding and servicing strategies.
  • Training and development: Experience equipping teams with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.
  • Industry experience or expertise: Any experience working with revenue management, multifamily housing, or Saas products.
