Are you passionate about crafting exceptional content and educating customers? We're on the lookout for a talented individual to spearhead our content creation and user education efforts. You'll have the exciting opportunity to shape our content strategy and collaborate closely with our product and design teams to enhance user experiences. Your responsibilities will include producing top-tier written and video content, managing our educational platforms, and engaging with the broader community through forums, live events, and webinars. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of technical writing experience, preferably in a SaaS startup environment, and be adept at navigating ambiguity while delivering results. Your responsibilities:


  • Build best in-class content This includes written and video guides, help documentation, webinars and livestreams, product trainings and onboarding, and more. Ever watched Notion or Figmaā€™s youtube tutorials or learning centers and thought, ā€œOh these are really well madeā€? Youā€™ll be in charge of this.
  • Manage our community and user education The more you can own this the better. Everything from content to information architecture to design to onboarding tours to email campaigns. Everything that has to do with getting the thousands of users that sign up every month to get value out of our product.
  • Manage freelancers and scale our resources Manage freelancers and eventually a team to scale production. You are the first hire for this team and we expect this team to grow over time.
  • Work very very closely with product/design Provide continuous feedback to the product and design team on how to improve our user experience. If youā€™re able to take on projects directly, thatā€™d be +1 since we have 1 PM and 1 product designer. You will be our eyes/ears on the ground on 10x-ing the product.
  • Drive user research & insights You'll talk constantly to users, conduct user interviews, host webinars to understand what they want to do with Replo and the content thatā€™ll help them make it possible.
  • Manage our community Today, there are thousands of freelancers working on Replo. Manage our Slack community of 2000+ users, distribute content, do content collaborations with other partners. Our team is small but mighty, and youā€™re expected to make sure everything we do is leveraged.
  • Coordinate with partners Our partners create content all the time on our behalf. Hereā€™s an example. Make sure that content our content is organized and high-quality.
  • Hopefully have a blast working with us šŸ˜‡


What weā€™re looking for:


  • 2+ years of technical writing ideally in a SaaS Start-up environment with exposure to design tools
  • You should be comfortable with appearing on video and speaking in front of an audience
  • You should be very comfortable with ambiguity on projects. If we say ā€œhereā€™s a problem space, go figure this out!ā€ we expect clear communication and the ability to ā€œfigure it outā€
  • You should be comfortable working with sourcing and managing contractors to get things done fast. This involves editing, admin work, etc. The work you do should be super-leveraged at a small startup.
  • You should have a fundamental understanding of basic web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and an ability to learn quickly. Our product can be complex but we expect you to learn it front to back.
  • You should have a very product and customer focused mindset.
  • You should be comfortable giving product ideas and design feedback on the product
  • Someone who is self-driven and can roll with the punches in a fast-paced environment where priorities and requirements may change frequently


The salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $130,000.00. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered
