Research Assistant I

Job Summary
Provide technical assistance for various research projects.
Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in one of the basic sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience in customer service or in daily interactions in a public services environment.

Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in a research lab, educational or medical environment preferred. Working with human subjects protocol is ideal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance for various research projects. Conducts research activities according to protocols for research. Research activities may include some or all of the following:
Human subject participant recruiting and screening; traditional research laboratory testing and activities as directed by senior research staff. Includes informatics, fMRI, database management, and/or research lab administration. May coordinate the work of others as needed.
Physical Activities Working Conditions Additional Information
Hybrid remote work environment available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
