development of policies and procedures. May be responsible for administration of moderate complexity
departmental programs.
Position Summary
Provide, present and support accurate and timely analysis and reporting through coding, maintenance, and
processing of District data from a variety of sources including District developed questionnaires and other internal
and external databases such as the District's Student Information Systems, National Student Clearinghouse or Free
Application for Federal Student Aid. Develops, maintains, tracks, monitors, and supports District initiatives such as
Research Request Review Committee and data sharing processes. Develops District data collection and surveys
using Qualtrics. Collaborates and partners with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate projects to provide
data and research support. Provide monthly and annual reporting and analysis of various data points that include
student demographic and performance data; post-secondary readiness metrics, and state and District assessments
such as STAAR/EOC, PSAT/SAT, ACT, and TSI. Collaborates and supports District/Campus end-users to maintain
and update reports as well as responds, documents, tracks, and monitors telephone and email requests for data
support to ensure timely resolution. Provides data to stakeholders using District supported tools such as BI
Platform/Crystal Reports/SAP, Microsoft Office Productivity Software such as Access, Excel, SharePoint, and other
data analysis software such as SPSS.
Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities
1. Provide input into the design, development, and preparation of databases for tracking and non-complex
analysis under moderate supervision.
2. Code and format verbatim survey comments for non-complex analysis and reporting.
3. Provide input into proofreading, testing, monitoring, and facilitating the administration of questionnaires
including online surveys and related presentations using some latitude for independent judgement.
4. Provide support with the development of non-complex data analysis exhibits, including PowerPoint charts
and tables, for presentations, data discussions, and reports using general knowledge.
5. Develop and report, including delivering presentations, and non-complex data to campus and District
administrators using some latitude for independent judgement.
6. Provide input into maintaining and refining systems to log, organize, and process external research
requests for the District Research Request Review Committee under moderate supervision.
7. Provide support with updating and maintaining non-complex data reports on the Crystal Enterprise 9 and
SharePoint data sharing systems using some latitude for independent judgement.
8. Provide support with troubleshooting non-complex Crystal Enterprise, Crystal Management Console, and
SharePoint issues using general knowledge to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Provide campus
support navigating district data systems including Crystal Enterprise 9 and SharePoint systems under
moderate supervision.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected
for this position under moderate supervision.
