Title: Research Fellow
What: Summer Fellowship (Eight weeks, starting date TK, June, 2023) for three Class of 2023 Newmark Graduate School of Journalism students.
Where: Condé Nast Content Integrity Group, Research
The program will consist of an eight-week, intensive dive into fact-checking and front-end research for several titles, including GQ and Bon Appétit/Epicurious, as well as the Condé Nast Library and Archive. Fellows will work one-on-one with our professionals, and will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the day-to-day work preparing articles for publication, including attending legal review meetings, communicating with writers and editors, and interviewing subjects. In addition, Fellows will work closely with the Condé Nast Library and Archive to help create front-end research files to align with stories in development.
Candidates will have a broad, but deep, interest in the cross-title and cross-platform output of Condé Nast, a multi-branded media industry leader. A thorough understanding of the fundamentals of journalism is required. Candidates must have the desire to work in a fast-paced but very collaborative environment.
Base Pay Range: $28/hr
