Research Operations Specialist

About the role 

We're looking for our first teammate to build out our Research Operations processes. You'll be instrumental in helping the Research team (currently 4 and growing!) and our cross-functional partners move faster with confidence. This role is exciting if you enjoy building practices for scale, partnering cross-functionally, and creating tools and processes that drive world-class research practices in a high-growth product company.

  • Improve the research participant recruitment process, ensuring that our processes and tools are efficient and compliant, while providing a delightful end-user experience:
  • Partner with CX and EPD to develop efficient recruiting and incentive processes for both our Admins and end users
  • Source and manage research recruiting (identification, approval, tracking) and schedule research participants
  • Track research recruiting metrics, ensuring diversity and breadth of customers engaged in research
  • Keep our research policies and practices in order and develop efficiencies where possible (NDAs, incentives, data privacy)
  • Manage documentation of our team’s processes (recruiting customers, running surveys, etc.)
  • Improve the systems with which we house our research, ensuring it is well documented, accessible, and searchable
  • Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage UXR tools and vendors
  • Support the planning and facilitation of team events like offsites, team lunches, etc.

Who you are

  • 2+ years of experience scaling in-house research ops practices, ideally in a B2B SaaS company.
  • Process and action oriented, you love building processes from the ground up and are constantly iterating and getting feedback to ensure what you develop is understood, adopted, and effective
  • A systems thinker and relationship builder, you seek out partnerships with our Research, Design, and Product teams to develop the right processes and tools for high quality, efficient research at scale
  • Experience with research recruiting, data privacy, incentives, and managing research vendors
  • Experience with UXR tools and developing processes for their effective use
  • You ensure that there are clear measures of success, and drive towards those in your work
  • You enjoy working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
  • You are a clear and concise communicator
