We are thoughtfully and proactively building out a stellar People Partner team to provide high touch service to our most important asset, our employees. This is a unique opportunity to build on the already existing strong people programs foundation, allowing you to focus on fostering strong partnerships with an organization full of people who are passionate about HR. This role reports to the Director, People Partners & Talent Management and is based in San Francisco (once we return to the office).
Responsibilities
- You’ll be the dedicated business partner to our Customer Experience teams to help align and execute on our people / business strategy
- Provide proactive coaching and advisement to leaders on a wide range of topics from DE&I initiatives, org design, compensation, performance management, employee relations and employee engagement
- Partner with Recruiting, L&D and People Operations to provide a holistic employee experience while delivering people programs to your dedicated teams
- Facilitate bi-annual performance, talent and compensation reviews
- Facilitate bi-annual engagement survey launches and action planning
- Lead team effectiveness initiatives such as new leader assimilations and team building events
- Partner with Finance and functional leaders around headcount planning cycles
- Partner with leaders to optimize organizational design and help facilitate change management plans
- Assess employee development needs and recommend solutions
- Continuously assess for process improvements while partnering with the broader People team to implement innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Will consider a range of experience levels, typically with about 8-10 years of total experience; 4-6 years of experience in relevant roles
- Strong communication and influencing skills; you are able to build meaningful relationships with employees at all levels across the organization
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to be both strategic and operational in problem-solving for the short and longer-term issues
- Empathetic and employee-focused approach: you care deeply about people, helping them to achieve their personal and professional goals, and enabling them to do the best and most meaningful work of their lives
- A point of view about People topics and are willing to share it, and are also deeply interested in the perspectives of others
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
Nice to have but not required
- Broad experience across the People function including HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience
- Comfort with ambiguity, autonomy, and responsibility; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done and then doing it
- Experience supporting Customer Experience teams
