Experience/Minimum Requirements

• Preferred that the associate has 1+ years of relevant experience in a reagent manufacturing environment
• Experience in tissue staining and antibody conjugation is preferred.
• Ability to pick up new technologies quickly and troubleshoot independently.

Job Complexity

Works on problems of limited scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Displays good communication skills (both written and verbal).

Supervision

Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

Summary of Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for manufacturing and testing of released products / product lines. Follow and support improvements of the production procedures to optimize manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements. Maintains records and laboratory room environment to comply with regulatory requirements, good laboratory practices, and standard operating procedures. Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity. Support as needed the packaging, fulfillment and distribution processes. May assist with maintenance of laboratory equipment and laboratory space. May assist with in-process testing to assure products meet specifications. May assist with resolving technical issues or troubleshooting. May assist in training others on processes and procedures.

• Manufacture of reagents, buffers, and slides
• Perform antibody staining, conjugations and aliquoting
• Support the growth of the antibody purification and buffer production process scale-up and process improvements.
• Maintain records and laboratory environment to comply with regulatory requirements, good laboratory practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Support as needed the QC of reagents by performing functional staining of conjugated antibodies on tissue slides for use in multiplex assays using Ionpath's MIBIscope technology.
• Any other Manufacturing Operations duties as assigned
