Summer Piano Institute Residence Hall Assistant is responsible for providing supervision and guidance to students who stay overnight in Ithaca College residence halls. D
uties include ensuring the physical safety and overall well-being of participants; checking-in with students at each meal; running a daily recreation activity; assisting with the piano and musical needs of the participants; assisting faculty, as needed; serving as a role model for students both personally and professionally; and keeping the Faculty Director advised of any conflicts, accidents and disciplinary problems in the residence hall. ualifications C
andidates should express genuine interest in working with a diverse group of students in a residence hall environment and have a basic understanding of human, social, and educational development. Candidates with prior experience working with youth in a camp environment, a history of providing leadership to a variety of age groups, and the ability to foster the development of a community through a variety of methods preferred. All counselors are required to attend a health and safety meeting and be able to practice and adhere to the methods and guidelines as stated in the Ithaca College Safety and Medical Plan. Preference will be given to current Ithaca College students. Advanced piano skills required. C

alary of $1,300 for 12 days. I
