What do we need?

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Fullstack Developer - Lead to guide our development initiatives and help shape revolutionary products for digital health applications. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction and collaborating closely with clients throughout the development lifecycle.

This includes requirement gathering, designing and implementing scalable architecture for front-end and back-end solutions, managing database interactions, and ensuring high-quality code through rigorous testing.

Engineering Outcomes

• Design and implement dynamic, end-to-end software products and applications.
• Engage with databases, APIs, and various third-party services.
• Set standards for code quality and best practices while integrating feedback for continual improvement.
• Take an active role in technical decision-making processes and mentor junior developers.
• Implement agile methodologies that optimize project delivery and enhance collaboration.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering.

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives and requirements are understood and met.
• Drive innovation while managing project timelines and deliverable quality.
• Nurture a productive and inclusive team environment through effective mentorship and skill development initiatives.

Desired Qualifications

Please note that while you do not need to be an expert in every area, being familiar with most of the following is important. We are looking for someone who can effectively integrate everything, with team support to fill any gaps. 

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (React).
• Experience with various types of databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and familiarity with web development tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, automated testing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus.
• Exposure to Svelte is an added advantage.
