Catalog Manager, Aftermarket

The Role:


This position is directly responsible for the acquisition, implementation, deployment and enhancement of automotive parts catalogs across the RevolutionParts ecommerce platform. As the lead in this role you will work as the liaison between customers, our product team, and third-party catalog companies to provide the most exceptional parts buying catalog experience to retail and business buyers. 



Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a detailed up-to-date, and thorough knowledge of product catalog data including but not limited to:
  • Detailed automotive application information
  • Catalog conflicts and holes resolution
  • Product images and digital assets best practices
  • Current industry catalog standards and versions (Aces & Pies Required, TecDoc familiarity preferred.)
  • Up-to-date data and image standards and delivery guidelines best practices of industry and data partners
  • Build and maintain relevant relationships with automotive parts catalog suppliers to secure the data needed to deploy and maintain effective catalogs
  • Validate data quality using internal PIM, the work with internal development resources to ensure data is timely and accurately ingested. 
  • Receive, research, and respond to internal and external team concerns regarding catalog application.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of catalog data updates in proper format with correct notation to customers.
  • Ensure through regular audits that product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate, consistent, and aligned with brand standards. 
  • Coordinate with the marketing and e-commerce team to align product launches and promotions with campaigns, promotions, and SEO strategies.
  • Work with existing partners and utilize offshore resources to secure data needed to enhance SKUs and drive better shopping experience
  • Identify potential product expansion opportunities through strategic catalog acquisition. 
  • Manage offshore resources to assist in executing against catalog projects in a timely manner.


Requirements:
  • 5 years of catalog-related experience (mapping, distribution, management, validation, research, etc.)
  • Significant knowledge of automobile makes, models, submodels, drive types, engine sizes, transmission types, and other catalog attributes
  • AutoCare catalog standard knowledge (Aces, Pies, including related tables QADB, PADB)
  • Understanding of e-commerce 
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills



Bonus Points:
  • ACP accreditation (Automotive Content Professional)
  • Bachelor’s degree related to data or technical sciences
  • Automotive aftermarket catalog administration experience
  • JNP (PARTCAT) experience and proficiency
  • TechAlliance TecDoc experience
  • Experience administrating 360-degree product images
  • Attendance of at least 1 ACPN conference
  • Supervisory experience


$70,000 - $90,000 a year
