The Rio Nogales Administrative Technician is responsible for communication (incoming/outgoing) and provided administrative support for all plant operations and staff. The Administrative Technician collects, reviews and inputs data into a computer processing system. Identifies and resolves production related errors. Assist with plant monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports.

Assist with monthly variance analysis, reviews results, reconciles actual costs with budgets/forecasts, summarizes variance explanations/forecasts, and distributes the information as appropriate.

Assist with plant monthly, quarterly, and annual business reports.

Coordinates plant performance review meetings.

Assist with providing accurate and timely invoice payments, inventory summaries and other requirements as needed.

Leads plant Administration activities including payroll, compliance, recordkeeping, and reporting.

Assists with plant performance metric tracking and reporting.

Customer Service - Greet visitors and direct to appropriate person. Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate person.

Maintain plant files and document control logs.

Perform all word processing, while adhering to company guidelines regarding confidential information.

Assist with purchasing and accounts payable functions as directed by the plant management.

Provide accurate and timely invoices, inventory summaries, cash requirements, budget variance reports and other requirements as needed.

Complete other tasks as requested by plant management.

Must possess a valid, in-state motor vehicle operator’s license at all times.

Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.

Must effectively communicate information to supervision and fellow plant personnel relative to administrative processes and provide suggestions for plant improvement.

Experience in general office work
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must have ability to use 10-key by touch, and type 45 words per minute
Ability to work extended hours and varied shifts with weekend and holiday work, as required by schedules, workload and plant conditions. “On Call” status will periodically be required
