Information Technology – Manager, Application Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of IT Application Operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and have 5-8 years of experience in IT operations, with a strong background in Alteryx, Boomi, integration techniques, scripting, and PowerShell. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of applications such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Openair, Workday, and Microsoft 365 platform. This role demands a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record in managing complex IT environments. 


Who You Are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Advanced certifications in IT management or relevant technologies. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services. 
  • 5-8 years of experience in IT Application operations, with a focus on application management and integration. 
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans for IT application operations. Strong understanding of business processes and how IT can support and enhance them. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time-management skills are a must. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. 


What You'll Do:
  • This role is hands-on. You will manage the day-to-day operations of IT applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability for the following applications: Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, OpenAir, and Microsoft 365 platform. 
  • Lead the IT Application Operations function, providing direction, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful delivery of services and projects. 
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of IT applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability for the following applications: Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, OpenAir, and Microsoft 365 platform. 
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for the effective operation and optimization of IT applications. Align IT initiatives with business objectives to drive performance and growth. 
  • Utilize expertise in Alteryx and Boomi to manage and streamline integration processes. Implement best practices for data integration and transformation. Facilitate integration of applications and data of acquired companies. 
  • Design and implement scripts and automation solutions using PowerShell and other scripting languages to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts. 
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the health and performance of IT applications. Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintainoptimal system functionality. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and business units to ensure seamless integration and alignment of IT applications with business processes. 
  • Ensure that all IT applications comply with regulatory and security requirements. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data and systems. 
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Oversee the procurement and implementation of third-party solutions to support IT operations.  


$112,000 - $169,000 a year
The expected pay range for this position is $112,000 - $169,000 (exclusive of bonus, equity, or benefits for which this role may be eligible). This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making individual compensation decisions including but not limited to experience and training; skill sets; licensure and certifications; location and other business and organizational needs; and applicable laws.
