Skills
- Understanding of GAAP standards
- Strong analytical skills
- Organizational skills
- Experience with system implementation
- Process improvement expertise
- Proficiency with spreadsheets
- Experience in financial close process
- Foreign entity accounting experience
- Lease accounting experience
- Experience in internally developed software accounting
Responsibilities
- Analyze monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
- Compile account information and prepare monthly journal entries
- Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations
- Establish formal GL closing and accounting process procedures
- Assist with year-end external audit requests
- Research accounting issues and suggest best practices
- Assist with ad hoc research and reporting projects
- Streamline data flow and processes with various departments
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
