Job Description Business Development Manager, North America Component Drives Business Position Summary We are looking for a passionate business development manager to cover our North America (NA) market as part of our global Low Voltage's Component Drives Business team. You would be a key member of our product management team and would be responsible for driving the NA business performance for... the component drive business by collaborating with the regional sales organization. You would be involved in strategy's execution, customer engagement, drive issues to a resolution to achieve sustainable profitable growth for the business. As a key member for new product development, this role would also require collaborating with the global product management peer, engineering, and other stakeholders from conceptual to the launch of the offering This role will be based in Mequon, Wisconsin, USA. You will report to the Global Business Manager in Singapore. To be the successful candidate in this role, you need to have a good background in Industrial Automation, commercial experience, familiarity with power electronics; additionally, those with variable speed drive, machine OEM business is desired. Responsibilities:
Meet organization and global business unit objectives, including financial performance. Supports North America sales & marketing organization with the objective of understanding customer needs, exceeding financial goals, and gaining incremental market share. Collaborate with North America sales and marketing team & global product management team in implementing key commercial programs to seek incremental growth. Knowledgeable of global industry trends, customer issues, competition, system integrity Collaborate with a cross-functional team such as development engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, other business units, etc. to exceed customer experience. Play a supporting role in new product introduction (NPI) development program from planning, execution to launches by collaborating with cross functional stakeholders and through our common product development process and agile process. Innovate by bringing a steady stream of new ideas for new product introduction, line extensions, enhancements, or productivity by applying market, customer, industry, application, and technical knowledge and is aligned to the organization's strategic direction. Ability to drive and lead a collaborative effort among a diverse team. Ability to work independently. Understood objectives and determines the process to meet goals. Open to receiving and sharing of new ideas. Manage multiple priorities and relentlessly prioritize. Drives outcomes with speed and ownership Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with influencing capability Demonstrate customer-centric culture to understand our internal and external customers. Networks with senior internal/external personnel in own and outside area of expertise. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering/technical related field or equivalent Up to 10% Travel Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. Preferred
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years' experience in sales, product management, or strategic initiative implementation in variable frequency drives or the Industrial Automation industry. Familiar with network system integration involving programmable logic control is a plus Familiarity with agile processes like SAFe is a plus. Communicate clearly and concisely in the verbal and written form required. Possesses strong drive for results. Able to work independently Willing to travel within North America when requires. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
